What is Slavic KCK?

Slavic KCK is a blog of me writing about the history of the Slavic (and other related groups) people who settled in Kansas City, Kansas at the turn of the century. Croatians, Poles, Slovenians, Slovaks, Serbs, Russians and Lithuanians (not technically Slavic but eh) composed the main demographic of these people. They all had a church and a community that surrounded it. I will go through the history of these peoples, the families that inhabited, and the churches and neighborhoods that surrounded them. I spent my first few years in one of these neighborhoods and was baptized at one of the parishes. I find these peoples experiences so very interesting. Hope you enjoy?
